San Lorenzo
The surroundings of San Lorenzo are actually more interesting than the village itself. Before you realize it, you have already driven through the village. There are as many as 6, no ok let’s say 7 houses. Yet many houses are referred to as San Lorenzo with us because of its central location on the island. San Lorenzo is also called San Llorenc de Balafia. Balafia comes from the past when the village was Moorish. The village consists of those 7 houses, including 2 towers in which to flee if attacked.
La Paloma
La Paloma is 1 of the nicest places in San Lorenzo as far as we are concerned. A mega cozy garden, fresh freshly squeezed juices and delicious (organic) food. “Love and Care” is what rings the bell, a place where you should feel at home. Also open in winter.
What else?
What else is there to tell about this cozy village? Actually, not so much :). Drive through it once, have lunch, and above all enjoy the unspoiled surroundings, which are beautifully unspoiled. The road from Santa Gertrudis to San Lorenzo is actually the most beautiful!
